Automatic Writing

There is always an interest in Automatic Writing. Let me begin by saying it is one of the hardest things to learn to do and surrounded in a lot of myths.

To find out if you are a candidate for automatic writing ask yourself if you are doodler. I know that sounds strange, but I have found that those who take to this genre have been doodling since they got their hands on a crayon. It was a battle in elementary school to return an unmarked text as you kept illustrating the pages. It was also Mission Impossible to stay on the neat lines and then as an adult to write a letter that wasn't leaning one way or the other and I mean the whole line. Often the line formed a nice hill.

Believe it or not, that was something else trying to communicate with you. Spirits are unable to fully communicate everything they want with us due to language and time constraints. Hence, they tend to use the written word as a pictogram and the spoken word with strange inflections. You can see that clearly in this example of automatic writing I did. I might point out that my automatic writing tends to be much clearer than other people's so don't schedule a session and expect this.

The next question is who or what is communicating via this medium. Most psychologists would claim it is your unconscious mind and in many cases, it probably is. However, when the thoughts expressed and the writing is so radically different from yours, it is probably an external intelligence. Once thing I have learned with my ability, is seldom are question answered. All I really get are messages and I have no idea who they are intended for or sometimes what they mean. I tend to get a lot that looks like free form poetry.

How to start is a good question. Many people start with a blank sheet paper making loop after loop until words start forming. This is a technique that requires a lot of paper and normally a second person to remove the sheets of paper or you will have a real mess of words on top of words. The method allows you to enter into a state of meditation or trance by the endless looping until the message comes through.

I don't mind telling you this has never worked for me.

I have found that a magic marker (no pun intended as that is what we called them) is the best medium for me. Once the first word forms, the next flow and how I know it is not me is the simple fact that I am dyslexic. It would be impossible for me to write the following example and not make a myriad of spelling mistakes. When I write, I get words backwards and jumbled the faster I try to write. I leave words out and this was written really fast with no mistakes.

So my technique would be to get a blank sheet of paper, a marker and form a letter. Then just let the thought flow onto the paper. Be happy with one word if that is all you get. This is an effort for both and the entity communicating.

Now you could go through the whole consecrate the paper and ink and cast a protective circle but I have never found anything bad coming through. Anyway, it's a piece of paper, you can burn it and refuse to let whatever shows up have that medium again. The only evil I have ever seen come through this medium and the ouija board... you aren't going to like this..... came straight from someone's own unconscious. So if you have a group of people and nasty stuff starts coming through, you might want to rethink your friends. If it is just you, you might need some therapy. However, I can guarantee an exorcism is not in order as it isn't going to work. Not a demon: YOU.

The Real Apocalypse and Who Caused It

The Prophecy of the Apocalypse

One of the problems with Prophecy is it tends to be vague and that may be simply attributed to the spirits giving it forth do not speak in the modern language of person repeating them. Perhaps if we returned to Proto-Sumerian, the prophecies would be clearer. However, few have that luxury or even ability so we must muddle through as best we can.

One book worshiped as the Word of God and hence the best source of prophecy, particularly of the End of Times, if the Bible. Unfortunately, it is a compilation of a bunch of books, all at least third hand, and we all know the old psychology experiment where one person reads a sentence on a piece of paper, walks over and tells it to the second person who then repeats it to the third, fourth and fifth. When the fifth person says the sentence it bares little resemblance to what was written on the piece of paper. Now when you consider the 1st person might not have had the clarity of seeing the sentence on a piece of paper because he could neither read not write, you are beginning to see the problem with the “Word of God”. Did someone say, 'gee, this too long, I think I'll shorten the 10 horsemen to 4 and then we'll just go with the only one actually named in the Bible: DEATH'?

Unfortunately, the answer to that question is yes. Yes, there really is only one Horseman named in the Bible: Death. The other 3 are modern inventions of unnamed forces. “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are mentioned in the Bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation, which predicts that they will ride during the Apocalypse. The four horsemen are traditionally named War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. However, the Bible actually only names one: Death. “

Have you ever wondered where they come from? Pay close attention, my friends because answer is rather shocking.

“The Lamb of God, or Lion of Judah (Jesus Christ), opens the first four of the seven seals, which summons four beings that ride out on white, red, black, and pale horses. Although some interpretations differ, in most accounts, the four riders are seen as symbolizing Conquest, War, Famine, and Death, respectively. “

Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

—Revelation 6:1-2

So we may assume from this translation of the Holy Bible, that the advent of Christianity through the birth of the Lamb or Son of God or Jesus, brings about the destruction and judgment of the entire world with the end of times. Whoops, I don't think he died for your sins, I think he created the whole mess by breaking the seals if I am to take the Bible at its word. He created your sins because the Horsemen ride humans as creatures that attach themselves to people of weak will. Guess what, I am not the first person to make that interpretation.

“Irenaeus, an influential Christian theologian of the 2nd century, was among the first to interpret this horseman as Christ himself, his white horse representing the successful spread of the gospel. Various scholars have since supported this notion, citing the later appearance, in Revelation 19, of Christ mounted on a white horse, appearing as The Word of God. Furthermore, earlier in the New Testament, the Book of Mark indicates that the advance of the gospel may indeed precede and foretell the apocalypse.

Oops, this doesn't bode well for Christianity nor its new group of followers.

Now what if I told you someone who wasn't that happy with the old Roman Empire took a previous book and reinterpreted it to foretell the fall of the Roman Empire from its debauchery? In other words, Revelations was a piece of propaganda designed to scare the Romans into becoming Christians, particularly if they didn't read the part about Christianity starting the end of the worlds or they would have been a lot more industrious about killing them all before they spread.

So what book are we talking about in reality since we can pretty much assume now that the Holy Bible in this chapter is more full of holes than a sieve? We find an old manuscript translated by Samuel Mathers named the Key of Solomon the King (Clavicula Salomonis). We can't actually date the original manuscript except to make the assumption it is older than the Revelations chapter of the Bible because Solomon lived centuries before Jesus and it is said that it was he who bound these spirits into a vessel or scroll to stop their destruction of earth. So along comes Jesus and breaks the seals because without the balance of the 4 Horsemen, the rise of Judaism is assured and with it the subjugation of all other men.

What, you say?

There is a part of the Key that few people ever read that was actually attached to it almost as an afterthought. It contains no magic so it was of little interest to the scholars of that time. It was translated from the Hebrew by Eliphaz Levi and placed in his “Philosophie Occulte” Serie II., page 136. That is the Hidden Philosophy and it was hidden for darned good reason. It is labeled as an “Ancient Fragment of the Key of Solomon”.

“I will now give unto thee the Key of the Kingdom of Spirits.

This Key is the same as that of the Mysterious Numbers of Yetzirah.

These Spirits are governed by the natural and universal Hierarchy of things.

Three command Three through the medium of Three.

There are Spirits of Above, those of Below, and those of the Centre; then if thou invertest the Sacred Ladder, if thou descendest instead of ascending, thou wilt discover the Counter-Hierarchy of the shells, or of the Dead Spirits.”

Okay, here we have the trinity of all things, God the father, the son and the holy ghost. It may be noted that this trinity did not exist in the previous pagan religions who show Maid, Maiden, Crone and the cauldron of death. Why is the cauldron missing? Because the cauldron in the medium through which life begins again and again in a never ending cycle.

“Know thou only that the Principalities of Heaven, the Virtues, and the Powers are not Persons, but dignities.

They are the Degrees of the Sacred Ladder upon which the Spirits ascend and descend.

Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and the others, are not Names but Titles.”

Now this really brings up some interesting questions. For example, are these nothing but floors in a building? You know, 5^th floor, Mens Haberdashery, and so forth or as it is put in the Aramaic Bible, ““There are many lodgings in my Father's house, and if not, I would have told you, because I go to prepare a place for you.”

So, you might be starting to wonder what else is missing from the Bible. Well, it might be what the 4 horsemen really are.

“The First of the Numbers is Unity.”

Now come the interesting part, because you see in this fragment of an older text each of the powers are balanced by equally disruptive powers.

“Their empire is that of unity and synthesis. They correspond to the Intelligence.

They have for adversaries the Thamiel or Double-Headed Ones, the Demons of revolt and of anarchy, whose two Chiefs, ever at war with each other, are Satan and Moloch.”

Do we have one the Four Horsemen, War, here? In the next 9 levels you will find the other three and you will also find them balanced by an equal force.

“The True God hath vanquished all the Demons as Truth triumphs over Error. That is past the opnions of men, and the wars of Michael against Satan are the symbols of movement, and of the progress of Spirits.

The Devil is ever a God of refusal.

Accredited idolatries are religions in their time.

Superannuated idolatries are Superstitions and Sacrileges.

The Pantheon of Phantoms, which are then in vogue, is the Heaven of the Ignorant.

The Receptacle of Phantoms, whom Folly even wisheth for no longer, is the Hell.

But all existeth only in the Imagination of the Vulgar.

For the Wise, Heaven is the Supreme Reason and Hell is Folly.”

So as you may see, Reason, Logic and Science are actually the supreme attributes of the virtuous not Belief, Faith or Doctrine. Gee, seems a whole three religions have it wrong and all of them are the descendants of Abraham or the Abrahamic religions, Judaism (the Father), Christianity (the Son) and Islam (as dictated by the Holy Ghost).

The real Apocalypse is the war between faith and science, reason and belief, logic and doctrine with mankind as the stage on which the war is played out. Remember, “The Devil is ever a God of refusal.”. Evolve or perish. Progress and accept or revert backwards and ever fight the same silly battle over and over again.

It is the energies of this Devil that promotes and perverts the memories of the “Good Old Days” which were only really good for It. Every step backwards on this ladder leads you to the Kingdom of Hell, why else do you think they destroyed the Tower of Babel and condemned mankind to ever be separated not only from each other by language but from every other being on this planet?

For example, plants communicate via a secondary organism which is a fungus. The entire world covered in plants is at one single moment communicating among itself via fungi. We see more and more different species of animals communicating with each other. Why are we the only ones left out? Can we reestablish the communication once we stop seeing ourselves are some sort of superior creature to all other life?

“But we are,” cry the Christians, the Jews, the Muslims!

Really? A virus is neither dead nor alive having the attributes of both. It is impossible to kill without extreme means. It exists for millenniums as itself, never dying nor living in one sense or the other. It can form entire viral societies and wipe out any other form of life. It communicates with other viruses.

How superior are you feeling right now? Yup, the virus won. Remember that next time you get the flu. You are nothing more than a receptacle or breeding ground for a virus which will then disappear and wait for the next time it starts feeling sexy. No Virginia, you aren't the superior species. You really aren't even in the running. You never will be until you join the society of earth and all its beings. Then and only then will you be open to meeting other beings, the ones whose names you worship but cannot know as long as you exist in the artificial world of mankind, neatly bricked off with a huge wall from everything else.

I might add for the rest of us, we found a hack. It's called a 10 level ladder and it isn't sold at the home improvement store.

By-the-way...remember the first Horseman was given a bow and a crown?

“The First of the Divine Conceptions called the Sephiroth is Kether or the Crown.”

You might note this in reference to the Tree of Life as depicted in Judaism, the Kabbalah.

Magickal Evolution

Some of you will understand this, others will just scratch their head and dismiss it as insanity. I pity the latter for they will never know true joy and purpose.

I have been studying magick since I was old enough to have some sense of self. The manipulation of the physical and mental worlds is something even a baby that can't talk sensibly due to a soft palette or even walk can understand. Babies are a lot more aware than you think. They are learning. At first they can only see the outline of things and then mysteriously one day, the internal features become visible. You can always tell that day because of the startled look on their little faces and how intently they suddenly look at everything. That is also the day they lose their more radical sense of smell. The visual world becomes more important than the sensory world they lived in.

I have been reading a book by Jim Butcher, “Skin Game”. The main character is a Wizard in modern day Chicago in which a host of supernatural creatures exist along side humans and do so very easily because humans do not want to see them. Sound a little familiar? Jim Butcher has an extensive background in the Martial Arts.

I took up the more esoteric Martial Arts starting with Tai Chi and moving on to energy flow and balance late in life. It was a wonderful feeling that some athletes call being in the zone. It is the point at which your breathing, physical movement and mental focus become one single thing, moving together in a perfect dance and there is nothing else. It is indescribable. It is 100% being in a single moment.

I know this is also a feature of magick. Over 90% of the people who try to take it up will never amount to anything and as I told one person last week, everyone wants the mix with water and microwave for 30 seconds spell and only about 2% are willing to put the time, practice and learning into it to actually succeed at anything. The 8% learn enough to create havoc and eventually get knocked on their mental asses very hard if they survive.

However, Jim Butcher really put it in a way I have not been able to, so I am going to give you a quote from the book to chew on for a long while and if Dresden doesn't describe you but Ascher does, getting out of the study of the metaphysical might be a really good idea.

“Ascher let out a bitter laugh. “You're scared, Dresden. Admit it. I've got access to power that makes me dangerous and you are afraid of what I can do.”

And, right there, she showed me the fundamental difference between us.

I love magic for its own sake. She didn't.

The Art can be a lot of work, and it can sometimes be tedious, and sometimes even painful, but at the end of the day, I love it. I love the focus of it., the discipline, the balance. I love working with the energy and exploring what can be done with it. I love the gathering tension of a spell, and the almost painful clarity of focus required to concentrate that tension into an effect. I love the practice required of it as well as the theory, the research, experimenting with new spells, teaching others about magic. I love laying down spells on my various pieces of magical gear, and most of all, I love it when I can use my talents to make a difference in the world, even when it's only a small one.

Archer...... enjoyed blowing stuff up, and burning things down. She was good at it. But she didn't love her talent for the miracle it was.

She merely loved what she could do with it.”

It only get better from there but I will say, I have known those who might be a lot better with magic than I am but once again, their focus was cursing and bending others to their will be it love spells or cons. They are freaking good at it, until someone like me comes along and takes what they are good at, unravels its elements and asks those elements if this is truly their purpose and then, those elements get really, really angry and it is not me they come for because my elements are happily playing and creating not destroying. Through some defect in the human composition, it is only mankind that enjoys destruction and practices it wholesale.

I have known both counselors and psychics whose focus is being the “best” and having the most scores and making others dependent upon them. I remember one counselor with twice the education she thought I had, being livid I actually 'cured' her patient in a half hour by repeating one sentence as an answer to everything the person said. The psychiatrist I worked for laughed himself silly and that was when he explained to me the goal of this therapist was not to cure but to make the person dependent on her great wisdom each week to fix what the client had messed up.

I saw the same thing when I spent a brief time working in another shop. I was doing my readings and after the first week a woman I read for came in and was just gushing about how I had hit everything on the mark. Since she was so very loud, they had to drag me out of my cube for I guess the applause and advertising value. Over and over again the word validation came out of every “psychic's” mouth. Finally one of them getting frustrated over my lack of jumping up and down and taking a bow made the mistake of asking me if I didn't think validation a wonderful thing to get.

I looked at this pretend puppy and the lady still gushing praise and asked them if when they called a plumber to unstop their commode and he unstopped it, did they think he needed validation of his talent with a plunger. Everyone shut up and looked at me. Hey, I am a psychic. I make predictions. I show you how to navigate through unpleasant things. I am good at it and that is why people pay me money to do it. I don't need validation of what I am. I know what I am. If you constantly have to have people telling you how good, wonderful, marvelous or even just competent you are at something, you, and I do mean YOU, have a big problem.

I love my cards. I love the feel of them in my hands. I love putting them on the table and having them spell out a story. I love the discovery of what each spread and each card is going to mean. I love the smell of a new deck. I love breaking it in by endless shuffling. I love wrapping the deck up after a reading in its personal cloth and putting it away to rest for the next time. I love everything about doing a reading.

I love looking at an astrological chart and weighing the influences, checking the angles and figuring out how to beat the pattern that is there so it works rather than defeats the person. I love seeing all the ways this person could have turned out and the cruxes that pushed them into the person they are. It is one huge mathematical puzzle or formula whose answer is the person sitting in front of me. Yes, I love it!

I love crafting the spells, gathering the ingredients, choosing the time. I love the smell of the herbs being crushed even when they are noxious. I love blending the elements together and talking to the magical element as it guides me. I love when the whole thing starts to glow with the subtle light of magic infusing it. I even love gathering the unused potions and either bottling them or disposing of them. I love the dance and play of the energy. And I really love when someone picks up something hidden in the display case I have bespelled and just has to have it because when they touch it, they feel that sizzle of the spell settling into their energy field to help them and on some level, they know it.

I love Magic! And because of that, it loves me.

No matter how many spirits or elements you bend to your will, remember one thing and I know you will never understand this, those spirits and elements will love those of my kind because we love them and when the rock and hard place appear, it is those of my kind they will help. By the time you manage to blast your way clear, if you haven't destroyed yourself in the process, we will be long gone.

But it doesn't stop here.

This is the difference between Warren Buffet and Donald Trump, between the Pope and Joel what's his face. They have the same talent but the Buffets and the Popes of the world are focused on using that talent to make a difference in the world, to make it a little better place to live in whereas the Trumps and his ilk want followers to worship of them, tell them how wonderful and right they are and the toys their talent can buy them so they can feel superior flaunting those toys. It's too bad peace, respect and love are the things you can't buy but the Trumps and Joels will destroy the entire world and everyone in it trying to buy them.

And what happened to Ascher? She bent the laws of physics and the laws of physics straightened out and she was squished. Read the book. You'll find out how. It's why you can't slide on your talent forever no matter what your talent is and there really is no redemption.

The Universe favors change and growth to better things. The only time things move backward to what might seem a better time is when they are already dead and rotting. Just stop and look around.

Yes, look around. Even in my fermenting groups using ancient culturing techniques, everyone is experimenting with newer and better ways to achieve and improve the process, better containers, different ingredients. In my plant groups people are experimenting with newer containers, newer potting mixes, newer ways of growing and using plants. One woman actually makes living curtains out of bromeliads for your windows. Another person is experimenting with planting air plants on your walls to use their nature transpiration to cool your house. Living, growing, changing is the way of the universe, not moving in reverse. Returning to the past is to embrace death and rot.

4 Festivals, 4 Astronomical events. Not the Same.

Dear friends,

There are four main Wiccan festivals and four Druid festivals. Just because someone put them on a wheel together doesn't mean they belong there or that they were all celebrated by the same religious or philosophical group.

Let's take the four main Druid festivals which are actually the only Druidic festivals. You will notice this because all those honking huge stone monuments are precisely aligned to 4 points of the year not 8.

I did not move those stones around to create that fact so don't blame me.

They mark what is beginning and ends of seasons as are needed for agriculture. You begin with the

Winter Solstice.

What? You thought we were on the Gregorian calendar that wasn't created for thousands of years after these monuments were built? The Gregorian Calendar was introduced in February of 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII. If you plan on being a Druid, you need to use your gray matter.

The Winter Solstice is the turning point of the dark part of the year and the days will now get longer. If you survived that long, you had it made. Next you have the Spring Equinox, the point at which the day and night times are equal. Crops need to be planted by this point or they won't have a long enough growing period and will be killed by frost before they ripen. Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and is when the days begin to shorten. It is time to plan for winter. You can figure what crops are doing well and plant some winter root crops. Finally comes the Fall Equinox when day and night are once again equal and you should be preparing the harvests.

Harvests have to be carefully planned or you have part of your food rotting in the field before you can get to it. Hence you have to know exactly how long the plant takes to grow, fruit and ripen. The entire village normally moved from field to field harvesting based on careful planting so nothing rotted. Each farmer grew what they were best at growing. Not only that but you has annual rainfall events and crops had to be out of the fields before the rains came or once again you had a rotted mess.

This is more than seasonally important as most city dwellers do not know. There are long season and short season crops. There are crops that require x amount of light to flower and fruit and day neutral crops. There are summer and winter crops. Knowledge of this allowed the farmer to create a balanced diet for his family and animals. If you plant cauliflower in the late spring, it will bolt or go to seed in summer when it gets hot without producing a food crop. This is why it is a cold season crop. On the other hand, corn requires heat so it grows over the summer. Most greens have to be grown in the spring and fall because summer is too hot for them. It was a balancing act and knowing the exact timing of the seasons was life or death.

What you need to note is none of these holidays are associated with a “god”.

It was only when someone added them to the Wiccan four festivals did they become associated with “gods”.

Your four Wiccan festivals are all celebrations not of seasons but of gods. We start in February with Imbolc which honors Brigit. Beltane shows up in April/May now, though originally it was May 5^th and it celebrates the god and goddess of fertility whose names are oddly never mentioned. August 1^st marks Lughnasadh which honors the God Lugh, the master craftsman. It is not Lammas as Lammas is a Christian creation. And lastly you have Samhain who never was a god. The October 31^st date marks the end of the final harvest and the death of the gods, not the god of death. Wicca is a fertility religion. This is the one Celtic holiday we can actually be certain of and it was adopted by every religion that followed it from becoming on Nov 1^st the Feast of the Dead to a couple of days later becoming the Day of the Dead in Latin America when it was meshed with the Mayan and Aztec religions. It has no astronomical significance and hence is not a Druidic holiday.

Samhain or October 31^st is not the Druid New Year because all Druidic holidays are based on astronomical and seasonal events that occur every year. The Wiccan Holidays are nicely based on the Gregorian Calendar which came thousands of years after the Druids marked out their calendar. Since the Wiccans and pagans previously depended on a lunar calendar with 13 months it is highly unlikely these festivals fell on these same dates every year but were more likely marked by agricultural or lunar events and when villages had time to celebrate.

For example I'll use the most under rated holiday, Imbolc or Brigit's Day. Although the Christians hijacked the holiday and Brigit's cross, it has a pagan basis. The original “cross” which comes out looking more like the Hindu swastika that Hitler inverted and stole. In Sanskrit swastika means well being. Oddly Brigit's Cross has a similar meaning as instead of being woven from rushes as it is in modern day it was woven from grain stalks or hay. The significance was you had some precious food either human or animal left from the winter, a few brave plants were peaking through the snow and it was time to celebrate surviving or well being. When the cross is woven from grain, the grain heads tend to droop at the ends of the cross producing a swastika appearance or a wheel, hence the little known designation of Brigit's Wheel.

Modern Wicca has neatly meshed all of this together and now it has even more neatly lost the meanings of the holidays in some quarters.

In this Druid's logical opinion, our new year or count for years would have begun on the Spring Equinox as that is the start of the growing season. There is no logical reason we would start the year at the end of the growing season or in the middle of the winter or associate it with any harvest as those are variable. Astronomical events are fixed.

2nd Class Citizens

2^nd Class Citizens

A while ago I started to wonder why I react so strongly to Christians trying to join Wiccan, Pagan or Druid Groups aside from the obvious. Christianity demands allegiance to one god only and all three of these religions are multi-deity, regardless of whether you consider the deity an actual being, thought-form or energy. Hence, they are NOT compatible. There is no way you can make them compatible.

But, it turns out there is another reason best expressed in Laurell K. Hamilton's new book, “Dead Ice”:

“They're either Christian Witches who are okay with being second class citizens in their own religion as long as they play by very strict Church rules, or Fluffy-Bunny Wiccans, or another New Age flavor of witches.

'I know Wiccan is a modern word for witchcraft as a religion, but what's a Fluffy-Bunny Wiccan?' Brent asked.

Fluffy-Bunny neopagans seem to believe that there's no such thing as bad energy or evil magic; as long as they don't mess with it, it won't mess with them. It's the equivalent of civilians who think that nothing bad will happen to them as long as they don't go into the wrong neighborhood or hang out with dangerous people. Neither group wants to believe that evil lurks in good neighborhoods, too, and predators of all kinds hunt the good with the bad folk sometimes.”

We do not need Sheep in our religions because we know that your innate goodness is no protection once the gates are open and the veil is lifted and all that takes is intent to petition something higher (which translates to more powerful) than yourself. That is called prayer and of particular danger is a prayer circle or group. The only protection in this world is knowledge. That is why when the pleas for help arrive, I usually reference a few good books or articles and walk away. I AM not doing your work. The only way you are going to learn is to do it yourself. Park in a bad neighborhood with a nice car and your Godliness or Holiness is of no protection for your wheels. You will return to a car on blocks. In the real world of energy, it may be an attractant just like a light attracts moths and the wasps that eat the moths. You will be stung.

We do not need people who will blindly follow but those who will fight beside us. We do not need second-class citizens of any form. If you don't have the strength of character to be your own person, go to one of the faiths that needs a lot of cannon fodder to protect their priest class. Our priest class is able to protect themselves or they wouldn't be priests, they would be blathering idiots.

Second-class citizens are only needed by those on a power trip and anyone or thing that attempts to make you one is not one of the good guys. True leaders empower, they don't take power from you. Try not to be fooled.

And you might want to pick up “Dead Ice” by Laurell K. Hamilton, an Anita Blake vampire hunter novel. This one is heavy into Voodoo and has a lot of adult content so be fore-warned. She does her research unlike some authors in this field and she walks the walk. She is the real deal.

The Dual Nature of Humans and the Trinity of Creation

I never completely understood these concepts until today when I actually used them. Yes, you can use them and I expect this is going to prove shocking to a lot of people.

Let's begin by removing Religion from the Concepts.

The Trinity is a concept embraced from the beginning of human creation. It varies from Maiden, Mother and Crone to Father, Son and Holy Ghost. What it really means is we have a triplication in the Universe of the creature we exist as here and the creature we exist as which is much greater and more complicated in the other realm and an intermediary creature that can move between the two and carry information. Notice I say creature each time because all three are in fact one being.

The concept of Human as a duality has been explored by every faith and usually is boiled down to the concept of the evil, animal based nature on one shoulder with the higher, more spiritual/universal nature on the shoulder trying to gain control of the mind. Humankind is said to be the only creature on earth with this dual nature. That's one explanation. A better explanation is we are only capable of maintaining a certain amount of information in our bodies and there is way more information available than we can contain or process. Hence we have a second body which appears as an aura or energetic field around the first body which interacts with the energetic fields of everything and everyone else on earth and shapes the mental and physical appearance of the human. The energetic field is not so much an interface as an artificial intelligence that is adapting to its surroundings and filtering the information into what is needed and what isn't useful at the moment.

Hence you hear comments like:

1. You are what you eat.
2. Birds of a feather flock together.
3. Owners start to look like their pets.
4. Married people begin to resemble each other over time.
5. You look like your job. And so forth.

It really does happen but how does that help you?

Have you ever heard a loved one in your head giving you advice even though they are physically in another location and have no idea consciously what you are doing? Everyone has so don't feel self conscious about it. It is actually very normal and it isn't your brain coming up with a mythical situation. If you question the person later, they will probably remember thinking about you and possibly even the situation you were in, just thinking it was a possibility.

The simple truth is you have access to all the information in the Universe and every person (intelligence) in the universe. Accessing it is easy. Communicating with anyone is easy. But the actual personality or intelligence you are communicating with is not the one that is based on this planet in this realm. It is in essence the Father or Crone, the greater intelligence in the other realm. This means that even though you really might want to present your case to the human here, you have reached this greater intelligence, and there is no guarantee it will communicate this information to the Human here or in the case of Humans that are totally disconnected from their greater selves, even be able to communicate the information when it is in the human's best interests. This is a fail safe to prevent one human from taking control of another.

How did I get a practical demonstration of this?

I had a friend who was heavy into Egyptian Magick and ecology much to the dismay of his CONservative Christian neighbors. He refused to create the cookie cutter McMansion they all desired to look at, with lawn, topiaries and flood lights and he kept winning every fight with zoning and them and trust me, the fights were many. So as I was going over the constant fight with Water Management over the Hillsboro Canal Restoration project and their ruination of our little farm with their road grass, I wondered what he would do. I was in a relaxed, half asleep state when I heard, not myself because even when talking to myself, I do not start with, “Now here's what you do.” He then continued to explain what I needed to do that was just on the edge of legal and totally polite. I then began asking about some things I thought were good ideas and we had quite a discussion all the while I was completely aware I was talking to someone else. I was also aware I was talking to him but someone much older and wiser than him or his “higher self”.

You have the potential to contact any person in this or the other dimension. All you have to do is learn to relax, suspend what they have told you is reality and contact them. This really does come under the heading of meditation. Since time does not exist in the other realm, there is no being put on hold. Your contact instantly occurs. Just remember, you are not talking to the human on earth but their greater self in the other dimension. Thus, you are not going to influence the human here and they may be totally unaware of your contact with their greater self if they, themselves, are disconnected from that being.

You see, we are all connected to everything and everyone like a huge ocean. The higher being that is guiding us is ourselves. That doesn't mean there are not beings that exist completely in the other realm because there are. But the being you contact or pray to , your guardian angel, the little voice in your head is really you. You are the spirit that guides you. You as the greater being have access to more information than the little you. It is like you can see what is happening right now in the room you are in but your greater self can see what is happening in the entire world at once. So your intuitive flashes are actually your greater self showing you the expanded view they see and since time doesn't exist for them, they can show you the future and the past!

Believe it or not, all this is explained in quantum physics and most of it has been proven via scientific method and quickly suppressed. It is not in the best interests of those who would rule on earth for you to know the full extent of your power and that they in fact, are no more powerful than anyone else. It is just that you give up your power and happiness to them.

And so my friends, the passive/aggressive fight begins for our little farm as we reclaim what is ours. You have the right to be happy and to live your life in a way that harms none but enhances you and the planet. You have the right to create yourself and no one has the right to take your unique expression from you and force you to become a poor reflection of them. You came here is beauty. You have the right to live in beauty. Enjoy the differences and come together in the likenesses. Grow and evolve. You are not a herd animal. You are a social animal that quests and enjoys the newness of other unique beings. Each day become something new and more than you were the day before. You have the right to exist.

Cleansing

Space Clearing

As I was looking through a 2009 Witches' Spell-A-Day Almanac, I happened to notice I had marked a procedure for clearing crystals and I thought it might be a good idea to mention that in my Facebook group. As I was booting up the computer, which we all know takes forever, I realized that space clearing is one of the most overlooked aspects for spell work.

You wouldn't write a letter on paper you had previously written a letter on and yet, too often we forget to clear the previous spell before beginning a new one or just plain cleaning up the energies after doing a spell. Without severing the energies by clearing the area, you never let go of the spell to completely finish working. This is not a great idea.

So, the first step is to clear the area you have used. Candle wax, incense ashes and other remains should be buried or thrown into running water. The best disposal is to have an actual well made that will nullify and drain the energies into earth for your “spell garbage”.

Then, magickal objects should be wiped or submerged in salt water. The best water is always ocean water but you can mix some up using sea salt and filtered water. Tap water tends to have too many chemicals in it for magickal clearing. After that, they should be rinsed in clear water if the salt is going to injure them. Metal and salt do not play well together. They should then be gently dried with a white towel, preferably cotton. Then they should be smudged with a clearing herb like sage, pine, juniper or basal. If they are not going back on your altar immediately, they should be wrapped in the appropriate cloth and stored. Even the altar itself should be wiped down and cleaned. Altar clothes should be washed if possible. This is why if you have that fancy altar cloth you love, it should not be the one you use for actual spell work. For one thing, some wax dyes do not come out when washed. I ruined a gorgeously embroidered altar cloth with a red candle.

Crystals are a little different and requite more clearing than regular objects. The crystal actually tunes itself to the spell you are doing and remains tuned until you neutralize it. This involves a good salt water bath for several hours, rinse and dry. Then the crystal needs to sit outside or on your windowsill for a full lunar cycle to break the false alignment you created and put it back to its natural state for the next spell. You can leave them under water for the full 28 days if you change the water regularly. If you have pets, they will be attracted to that water over all other water so you might want to put a glass lid on the container.

Mirrors must be thoroughly washed in salt water (personally I use a middle step of vinegar water) and plain water and then wrapped quickly.

Remember, the quality of the water is very important. So, don't hesitate to get distilled water if you can.

You also might want to consider that if any of your ritual objects contain a crystal, you are going to have clear the crystal in them. Remember that when choosing objects to work with and base part of your choice on how hard they will be to cleanse.

Before you even set up your altar, the area needs to be cleansed where you are putting it. So, spritz or wipe it down with salt water, smudge it and get the dust out. You will find your work is much more successful if you obey the simple rules of cleansing before and after. Respect your space and your sacred objects and they will become more powerful with each use.

Thoughtforms and God/desses

The Creations of God/desses or Thought Forms

Last year there was an ad nauseam discussion on the net as to whether there ever was a Goddess of the USA named Columbia. No one could find any ancient reference to this Goddess. The name Columbia first appears in 1738 in the Gentleman's Magazine in Great Britain. Columbia was the fictitious name applied to the 13 colonies in the New World, as it was not legal to publish the actual transcripts of the debates in the British parliament for the unwashed to read, so they were published as satire with the names as anagrams or references much as in the old Anglo Saxon tradition of never calling anything by its proper name, as names have power. An example is a whale road would be a river. She is again depicted in 1882 as the “spirit of the frontier”. She has an interesting statue in Washington D. C. in which she has Native American feathers on her helmet, wears what really looks like an Indian sari instead of a Roman toga and is carrying a broadsword which may have been invented by a Chinese emperor but was mostly found in England and Scotland.

After that really expensive statue was commissioned and placed, she was dressed in the American Flag for centuries with nary a single complaint about her wearing the sacred flag as being illegal or disrespectful.

However, after all the rending and tearing of shirts, ashes were brought out and the Goddess was declared non-existent and a figment of the founding fathers fertile imaginations. I assume toppling the statue was next.

Absolutely, my friends! The founding fathers, most of whom were Masons or members of various occult lodges having fled Britain and Europe to avoid being burned at the stake for their wealth, spent loads of money and effort to create a statue of a non-existent Goddess that was named after the figment of Edward Cave's mind when the number one priority of the day back then was finding enough to eat that didn't eat you by nightfall, avoiding accidents and trying to stay healthy and in their spare time trying to create an outline for a country that would be free and actually represent most of the people in it, providing the people were white men, no women need apply. Whoopsies, that's a Goddess there, boys.

You may conclude most of these men had a better education in the occult or spiritual arts than you do. They lived among the great writers and thinkers you read about to gleam a twinkling of information from a world were information would get you killed in a nasty manner. Heck, they were the great writers and thinkers. Did they have a several year lapse of sanity? No, they understood the simple principle of creating a God/dess thoughtform and drawing on its energy.

So let's go back to the beginning of the god creation business. Human sees lightning. Lightning creates fire which proved to be darned useful. Human decides some supernatural being delivered fire. Nope, that's a little after the beginning. At first human decides fire is a supernatural thing and can be propagated. This is good because until it rained, no one ran out of fire. Then someone had to run to the next lightning strike and hope for fire. That is when someone decided a very capricious supernatural being was sending not only fire but rain to torment them. So, they decided to make sacrifices to the fire god by, no not killing things, burning trees because they burned well, and thus they got a never ending supply of fire as long as they kept it dry.

It is not a frivolous thing that every successful ritual or spell begins with the lighting of a candle and incense. It is also not a strange thing that in today's world people are discovering that battery powered candles may actually work faster and better than wax candles if you aren't trying to invoke something ancient. We live in a world powered by electricity not fire and have created a god named electricity.

You see by repeating and getting more and more people to believe in a specific thing you create what computer programmers would call the cloud, but we call a thoughtform. Physicists call it glob of energy because like energy tends to stick together. Once you have created this glob of energy or ether, you can begin to call upon the energy to create the reality you need to manifest. However, if you are smart, you have placed certain requirements on accessing the energy that are in the form of chants, sigils (representative symbol or letters), attractant or sacrifices to prevent everyone and their cousin from draining the glob faster than you can replenish it. In other words, you, too, can create a god but it is much easier if you can grab onto one of the existing ones that are already powered up and ready for use with instructions for access. It's sort of like buying a computer with an existing operating system rather than building a kit and writing your own operating system. Each one has its advantages. One is simple but the other is more secure and often more effective.

So, you may ask what went wrong. Today's religions are ineffective at manifesting anything though they have millions of followers, way more than any past religion, and nothing has ever been seen of most of their gods since burning bush incident. The “priests” are in their multibillion dollar fortresses flying their luxury jets to their yachts and their followers are barely making the rent. It might be that the access to their “godhead” or thought form is restricted to the priest cast but the refilling of it is open to all and that is why the all is poor. They are giving but convinced the receiving can only occur if they are dead.

Allow me to explain. Remember the part about any good ritual begins with the lighting of candles and incense. It is really the incense that gets things moving and it is the one thing totally removed from all the Abrahamic religions for their common members but it is present in the churches reserved for the priests or rulers. However, the lighting of incense that is vilified by the religions as pagan because it is present in Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. that is an integral part of the access key to the thoughtform. Why else do you think the formula for “church incense” was such a closely guarded secret? Remember it was a burning bush not a burning cow. Yet, immediately the father of their religions, Abraham, switched to let's burn a bull and have the sweet smelling herbs in my house burning. He wasn't dumb. He restricted access to the god energy while getting all the cooks out there to feed the cloud.

And so it began. It is doubtful anyone but those who have managed to get access to the original Abrahamic texts, of which only a few scrolls locked up in a Rockefeller museum in Israel exist and a few in the Vatican, can truly access any of the energy of this magickal tradition and all religions qualify as magickal traditions.

However, Abraham had a good idea. He decided to take all the little energy globs, called gods and goddesses, and lump them into a single god to which only he and his family would have total access and quickly kill anyone who dared to invoke the little gods and goddess because they would drain energy off the big god he was creating. You don't have back doors in a computer program unless you are ready to spend a lot of time defending them. Someone, somewhere is going to access them and play havoc with your neatly ordered program just for the fun of it. He didn't have the time or energy to play defense so he went on the offense.

The next step in this “occult plan” is playing out in the Middle East right now where a bunch of idiot fanatics are being used to destroy all ancient sites once again making certain no one can access their energy or for that matter, even more sinister, put energy into them. This will prevent the big three religions from drawing energy from even the pagan inputs and allow only the fanatics to access that energy giving them an energetic boost they could never achieve just by followers alone.

Yes, all these ancient sites make up an energetic network. You may have read that they all form a geometric pattern and most are located on specific latitudes in a pretty straight line. They all align with the solstices and equinoxes, which are the best time to access and add to their energies. The entire city is laid out in astronomical energetic patterns just like Washington, D. C.

Keep in mind, in the process of creating a thoughtform, this energetic glob can be anchored to an object like a stature, bag, combination of herbs or special mineral in addition to a chant or sigil. Hence you have religious objects, pictures and even the slightly gruesome practice of dividing up and keeping the parts of revered ones of your religion (saints) and placing a piece of them in each church. I tend to think that rather than a real philosophical difference with the Vatican, the Protestants began because the Vatican controlled the Saintly Pieces and without them you can't access the Catholic network. Keep in mind that most of the old Saints had a supernatural ability in addition to the weird fact that their bodies tended to not rot after death. This can be traced back to the meditative technique where a person is said to go into an extreme state of meditation that renders them immortal but yet they seem to be dead to medical science as we know it. Their bodies do not rot either.

So, keep in mind my friends, there is a lot more to things than you see on the surface. By creating this one energy glob, the effectiveness of the little energy globs it was absorbing was neutralized until someone resurrects the little blobs. It takes a lot of energy to keep the little blobs from breaking away from a big one and hence you shall have no gods before me and worship no graven images. All someone would have to do is decide this big god looked like some little god and whoops, there goes your energy through a back door. You can't let the peasants get uppity and start stealing that spiritual energy to do things like get rain for their crops or in this world, money.

But a strange thing has happened in the new world that was unanticipated. Money was created as a universal representation of energy. Your work energy, creative energy, family energy and personal worth is measured in how many pieces of gold you have. Gold isn't even the rarest mineral nor the most durable. To further that end, in the time of creation of Jesus, taxes to the empire were collected in pure gold coin but everyday money was cheap gold plated coins. So the gold plated coins transferred the energy to the empire but did not allow tapping into the empire's energy. Only the empire have the pure gold coin gold being the transfer mechanism. And guess who the intermediaries were? Yes, the priests set up money changing tables in the temples. So they took your store of energy and bought all their wonderful luxuries with it, and sold you the pure tokens to give to the emperor so he could put the rest of that energy into expanding and controlling his empire and YOU! The majority of energy was stored in the gold coating with a tiny bit in the base metal. So the first story of the Jesus involves overthrowing the money changers who were getting rich off the poor (let's call the money changers energy transformers) and telling you “render unto Caesar that which is Caesars” or directly return his energy to him and be free of it. It's too bad they used it to build a more insidious system of enslaving you with that you'll get all your 'good works' back as soon as you die and please overlook the fact that you will be dead.

But who has that many dollar bills in their pocket. Mostly you have cards that access all of your worth in an electronic banking system. Even worse, with the advent of personal computers and cell phones, people are starting to understand how this whole energy money system works and they have PERSONAL PASSWORDS. This is very bad for the Big Three Boys because now people are accessing their personal energy instead giving it up for safe keeping to their representatives in the banking industry. They are creating their own little globs of worth. It is no coincidence that a loss of membership is tied to the computer or electronic age. Nor is it a coincidence that people are progressing spiritually or magickally faster than at any other time. And it is not a coincidence that suddenly all the little money grabbers are making it so easy for you to donate with a monthly or weekly withdrawal from your energy account called a checking account or credit card and you don't need to do a single thing, just give them the back door into your energy storehouse called an automatic payment.

People are beginning to access the old storage system in which each particular need had a specific pathway and they are beginning to see that the pathway is through plants, not animal sacrifices. So rather than standing in a super long line at the Superstore of Energy, they are going over to the Boutique of Promotions to get to the next level in their work where they personal attention.

So what is the first step in opening your Boutique of Energy? You need to study what is compatible with your need in the plant kingdom and cultivate a relationship with that plant. It is not a coincidence that most excellent Magickians have a green thumb. They are connected to the plant kingdom and hence the planetary energetic network. Then you have to write a chant or key to connect to that plant and need and so forth. The big part is putting the energy into the need without taking any out at first. You need to build a storehouse of energy. Thankfully, the energy of the entire family of that plant will help you do it. Then at the proper time, which is a study in itself, you withdraw some of the energy to manifest your desire. That is doing it from the ground up and guaranteeing you will have an unadulterated source of energy or you could pick up an ancient text and follow the instructions in it but that will be iffy. This is not their world. On that, I will end on a little story.

A friend and excellent witch was stranded in a Latin American country. He had his wallet stolen and back then there were no universal credit cards. He needed money to get out of there so he fell back to what he did best, witchcraft. No matter how hard he worked or successful his spells were, he only managed to make enough money to keep himself afloat. He kept doing money spell after money spell to no avail. Finally he was getting to choosing between candles and food when his landlord became interested along with his friends. He spent two weeks planning and writing this ritual for launch on the new moon. No one really had much money so the spell became a community effort. He sent them out for green candles because green is money. They weren't that successful because in most Latin American countries, green candles are used for healing and they all had a bit of dysentery and had used the green candles, so they showed up with other colors. He was reduced to less than the needed 5 green candles and a bunch of brightly colored candles to fill in. The two precious green candles became his altar candles. Then his ritual began to fall about even further when no one could come up with the needed denominations of American money and his landlord stepped in with the larger bills in the native currency. He was pretty close to tears as he sat in front of his carefully planned out altar and ritual when he realized the money in this country was anything but green. A quick change with all the colored candles matching the local currency and all the money changed to local currency, with the appropriate change in the chants and soon he had everyone drifting in and out of his bedroom joining in the chant and translating it to Spanish so now the whole ritual was in Spanish with local currency. And then NOTHING happened. But seven days later he had all the money for his ticket through buying a gambling ticket (sort of like our LOTTO but local) and everyone in town had made some money and was happy. What he couldn't figure out was why it took a week. He normally saw results within a day of his spells. I explained that practically every working in Latin America was based on a 3, 7 or 14 day candle period. Since he used 5 candles plus 2 altar candles he set it up to translate to a 7 day spell.

Yes, friends, there is a lot to learn and short cuts usually put you somewhere you don't want to go. So we will explore the pieces you need to put together in future chapters.
